    Hi Pete,
No reason on earth for you to remember me, but I took a few of your classes at ASU late 90’s, in my 30’s (late college bloomer, lol). I just wanted to say it is great that you are still doing your thing, you are a phenomenal teacher who makes people think (well, I guess that is still a choice), but you did do a good job of engaging and actually got me to speak to a class of 500 when I had so much social anxiety I could barely breathe walking into a classroom, lol.
Keep up your awesome work, I used so much I learned from you over my years as a counselor, I just wanted to let you know.
Maybe I will actually go through your website to re-learn some as I begin a new chapter in my life and write (genetics took me out of the normal workforce, so I just keep on keeping on the best way I know how). You may contact me back if you choose, if not, no worries, I will not take it personal. Hope your life just gets better and better!! Tanya

      Tanya. . .

Of course I remember you. You enjoyed camping. I think you drove a 4-wheel drive. If I remember correctly, you could hold your own during my office hour “debates.” I remember asking the men to offer you a seat… so rude.

Thanks for your vote of confidence. The schools I’m at didn’t ever really see my value. The students loved my style. Admin, not so much.

How did you ever find my website???

I just created it. It needs a LOT of work. Check out my new website:

Let me know what you think. This website will follow the same logic.

Yep, had a Jeep CJ-7, but I let some idiot work on it (rather than myself or my mechanic) and it got totally fubar’d. Last time I saw you I was in a red Porsche which I traded in for a respectable social worker’s vehicle, lol. I like what I have seen so far of your websites.
How I found you…I had heard a while back that you were no longer at ASU, “something about publishing”, but heard from maybe a student or another professor (I attempted to go back for a while for a second Masters in Education) that it was lack of “Publication” and the new Prez of ASU just could not have that as he was so focused on making ASU a research college (guessing it was a professor who told me since I remember all that, lol). I did a search back then and saw you were in Colorado (I was born in Denver btw). For almost 2 years now I have been out of work…..I had a ticking time bomb of auto immune and genetic issues that went off…..kind of slowly at first then bam…have not worked in almost 2 years (Yay for long term disability and getting into the right job at the right time, whew!) Anyway, so I find myself, from time to time, looking up people from my past who had an influence or were old friends, when I feel up to it and your name comes up pretty quick in Google, lol. I tried facebook, but it has been acting sketchy so not many credible matches (I even tried Pedro, haha).
All in all, just wanted to say Hi, hope things are going well.
Soooo funny reading about ending a relationship. The man I am with and I broke up for a time (we lived in the same apt complex, no chance of total avoidance), but I had work to do on me emotionally (he admitted he did too), we ended up back together and from what I can gather from my support groups, I am one lucky chica. Most husbands, guys, partners cannot handle when their partner is suddenly someone else….he does the very best he can to be supportive and understanding, but will call me on my bullshit if pain is interfering with my ability to speak politely…again, hahahaha.
I would be happy to contribute if any part of my life story would add to your teaching, might be easier to email me direct rather than have all the dirty little details of my life on a public page, or not, again I really did just want to say Hi and Thank you for your positive influence in my life.
